Join us in the PHILIPPINES
Many people in these remote areas work as day laborers in agriculture, making only a few dollars a day. In Mindoro, many of the fathers of children in our program work in the rice fields, doing backbreaking work planting and carrying heavy bags of rice. Mindoro is perfect for growing rice because it rains often, but when it is raining, the men are often not able to work. These remote areas are also hit by many natural disasters, including typhoons.
PROJECT
On this trip we offer medical outreaches and construction opportunities. We also have the opportunity to serve the local indigenous population, the Mangyan tribe, with a medical outreach.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
We are often asked about “Special Projects” and “Urgent Needs” that lack funding. These projects are unique needs that make it possible to operate our five schools, and to care for the children and families in the Philippines.
SPONSORED CHILDREN
If you are sponsoring a child through H4KI, you will have the chance to meet him or her, see the family and community, and establish relationships that could last a lifetime.
